Hi guys
A buddy of mine just offered me the 390 out of his galaxie and I was wondering what the differences might be between that car 390 and our truck 390. I currently have a 360 for my truck and was wondering how this might benefit me. What do you think?
Thanks
Brian

Re: galaxie 390
grab it!!! More power...
The car engines would have a higher compression than the truck engines.
All your parts will interchange with the 390's parts so the swap would be easy..

Re: galaxie 390
i have a 68 galaxie engine in my truck. i had to swap the exhaust manifolds out from car to the truck from my old 360. and the oil fitler adapter but that was all it took to put it in.
