Volumetric Efficiency
Anybody know what a stock 360 FE is rated at in terms of volumetric efficiency?

Re: Volumetric Efficiency
Really? That low? I was thinking it would be in the 77-83% range.
Would going to an aftermarket intake manifold improve VE?

Re: Volumetric Efficiency
Ve is typically advertized at peak HP. A 360 is likely more efficient below 2500 RPM than most carb engines whereas it sucks at 4000 RPM peak HP ratings.
