point gap setting in 390 low comp.

I still need some input for the best point gap for my 390 v4 / low compression engine untill I can get my pertronics system . Thanks for the info on pertronics vs dura spark it was a big help in my choosing.

I run one of my distributors at .017 and the other at .015. They both run the same points/condesor brands, but one needs a lil less gap for some reason.
Locate approximately as shown.

Use a dwell meter.

Set it 29-31 degrees.
