you plan on keeping it in the Merc or putting it in a truck?
Then, what do you want to do with either? Cruiser, street race, drag??

Probably keeping it in the car, but not sure. It really wouldn't matter as I am not planning on using it to tow even if I plop it in a truck (have a diesel for that), and the car weighs more than the trucks do (around 4400 lbs).

I am looking for a good compromise between mid range hp and torque (something that would make a good driver/stop light blaster.

I guess other than head upgrades, what is the difference between one of these high compression 330 hp engines and one that makes 400 hp +++ .

Would some mild porting and polishing return pretty decent gains, or are the Edelbrock heads the only way to go?

i had a 65 montclair too. it was pretty damn fast for a big old boat. and that back window is called a "breezeway" window. lol i'll bet it has super high gears. swap down to some 3.xx's and it should wake right up.
what kind of condition is it in? wanna sell it?
