I have a 1970 F-250, 2WD, autom. transm., 360 V8; It has a Motorcraft carb which I'd like to rebuild/replace; I'm trying to ID the model type and in looking at existing threads/documents my guess is that it is a 2100 or a 2150 (which are the only two I've seen pictures of). Can anyone make out the model and give me a heads up as to what the indicators are (see attatched pictures).
Thanks,
John

Re: 1970 F-250 Carb ID
From another site I found:
"You can tell a 2150 from it's 2100 ancestor by the little rods that rise and fall in the venturis as you work the throttle. These small tapered rods make the air bleeds variable as the vehicle uses more or less fuel. This simple function makes the 2150 one of the most efficient carburetors ever manufactured."
Attached is a picture with these rods circled in red, if these are in your carb its a 2150, if not then it's a 2100.
Also if your looking to replace it, you may want to check the side stamping. It will tell you how much cfm the carb. flows.
Number = CFM
.98 = 190
1.01 = 240
1.02 = 245
1.08 = 287
1.14 = 300
1.21 = 351
1.23 = 356
1.33 = 424
