carb problem

68 240 6 1 barrel card.
Not sure what brand it is.
How can I find a schematic or parts breakdown for this carb.

when you buy a carb kit for it the instructions will have a diagram for the whole carb inside the box. you can also go to the local library and look in the mitchel manauls and so forth for the same diagrams.

Gotta ID it first.. I think most were Carter YF carbs. Both mine with sixes use
the YF. Does it look about like this one?

If so, it's a YF. There will be minor variations through the years, but I think most
of the rebuild kits will work for most all of them.
They are easy to rebuild. Probably one of the easiest you could find.
