340-6 temp sender location

Post by robranch »

I got ahold of a 1969 F-100 found that a wire that was hanging loose in a loom about 30 inches from the firewall. After getting it after of tinkering I found that the temp gauge would not work and figured this must be the wire. The female plug in is a 90 degree and has a red/white wire attached to it. I can not find a sender on the head or any where. Some people it is towards the front of the head and the threads for are 1/8" npt but I can't find it. Help
