cant find wire for positive side of coil

i have searched and searched followed the wiring harness and everything but i can not find the wire that connects to the positive side of the coil

it shoul dbe coming out of the center of the firewall with the wate rand oil wires. if it has been cut off or something it might be under the dash before it goes through the center of the firewall. if not you may have to check the wiring diagrams to chase it down. i think its red.

Check right off the ignition switch. There you should find a connector fed from the ign terminal.
the other end of that connector should have a pink resister wire in it, which should go into the loom to feed the coil.

OT: I grew up in Lemmon during the 40s and early 50s. I get back there about every ten years or so.

The wire starts at the ignition Switch as a Red Green. Switches to Pink and then back to Red Green just inside the fire wall. After it goes through the fire wall it becomes enters the 3 terminal connector that is just over the driver's side of the intake manifold. It stays Red Green when it leaves the connector all the way to the coil.
