302 TIMING ISSUE

302 TIMING ISSUE

I think my 302 jumped timing.. If i take off the dist. cap and put cyl. 1 at TDC which way is it supposed to be pointing?

If it is at TDC on the compression cycle, then it should point close to where the #1 plug wire is at on the cap.
