Any tips for removing dipstick tube
Bought a chrome dipstick tube to go with some of the other engine chrome. I have taken them out of other engines, but this one seems tight (302). Other than just working it out, does anyone have any tips to make the job easier???

Make sure it's not a screw in type. My 351W is a screw in type. If it does screw in I find a brake line wrench works best.

Put a bolt that just fits in the top of the tube, clamp- it with a vise grip then hammer up on the vise grip while turning it back and forth. Dont rock it because that might break the bottom off.

Thanks. It's not threaded, so I'll try no.2.
