I don't have the original motor in my truck and needed some torque specs, but my manual shows different specs for different years
Anyway my block has the 501 on the front and D4TE on the side heads are D2TEAA. From what i read so far i have a the big truck block, right?
What year is this 390?

that is the newer 74 block with the older 72 heads the engine is a 1974 at the earliest. it is a regular fe engine. its probably not a ft engine. they are way different than the fe. and are harder to mount if at all into a pickup.
