Post by phil »

Question for those people that have replaced there Cam. I'm thinking of installing this Cam kit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-K ... mage=large
Question is when you swaped Cams did anyone replace the pushrods or is it required? :?

It is not "required" if they pass inpection and are the proper length for the set up.

I did change mine largely because I changed the rockers and later to get custom lengths.

I realize you didn't ask, but that cam isn't a great choice for a Ford as it is a single pattern (intake and exhaust duration and lift are equal) and the 268H is one of Comps older grinds, something from the XE line with a sinilar .050 intake duration would likely be a better choice.
