Carb Linkage help

Post by grandpas1972 »

Hello this is my very first post on these forums. Well i removed the old carb from my grandfathers 72 camper special and did not look at how the linkage went. So im wondering if there is some sort of diagram on how the linkage goes. any help is appreciated. Thank you

I'm just getting into my 72 that has a 390 with a 2v. Someone at some point has micky moused the carb, there is a steel line leading off the choke that has been squeezed shut for instance. Is there any kind of diagram like the one grandpas72 asked for?

depending on the height of the intake you may need a kick down extension. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-20-41/
didn't use one here.
