Completely agree,..engineering=casting and a number of last resort. In this guy's case,..it is, he has no production or service numbers. Still, it is a date and if he has something higher than 67,...I say not original. Ie...C8AE-A,..not original 352 and probably 360? Earlier engineering code,...anybodies guess.
