Not if the pans are the ones installed at the factory. All 2WD light-duty trucks had front-sump pans.

the rear sump pans have a large rear part of the pan. the front sump pans have a large front part of the pan. thats the fastest way to tell.

Hi! Todd, I don't mean to change the direction of your thread, but I was wondering: do the rear sump pans fit a 2WD F250?

My new engine came with a rear sump pan (an 8 quart pan) and I'm not sure if it will fit or not. Based on eyeballing it it looks OK but I haven't tried it yet.

Thanks!

As long as you have the appropriate oil pump pickup and attaching hardware, they'll work just fine. Actually, switching to a rear-sump pan is a popular 'upgrade' to 2WD truck owners, since it greatly reduces the amount of cleanup required during an oil change, due to the drainplug on front-sump pans is located directly over the front crossmember.
