need eng.ID help

trying to rebuild my 72 Ranchero 500...keep getting wrong valve stem seals! block # is D2AE-CA. and 2F2...which the 2F2 is on the intake and heads as well. the stamp on the counterwieght on the crank is 4MA....HELP! :(

You're ordering seals for a '72 351C-2V, right? That's what you've got.

yes...Twice!...but they have been to big of a diameter...(the valve STEM diameter is correct...but they are too big for the GUIDE castings)

Can you give us the manufacturer and number of the seals you're getting?

comp cams, 502. with 11/32 valve stem, 0.530 guides

there regular umbrella seals. there not meant to fit tight to the guides.
