351c swap

I have a 71 f250 with a 360/c6, what issues will I find when putting in a 351c and a t18. I know I need mounts from a 302/351w, I got every thing for the t18 but it came out of a 82 f250 with a l6 (flywheel, clutch, 2 piece drive shaft, clutch linkage but not the petal ). will the flywheel work or dose it have to be balanced different, and is it possible to get it balanced right? the 351c has headers, will I have clearance issues since the motor came out of a 74 mustang?

I might be wrong but I thought the 351c was a big block. The 302 and the 351w are both small blocks. I have had both in my 70 F100. Not sure on the flywheel. I wouldn't think there would be a problem with the headers.

no the 351c is the same as the 351m 351w and 302. they are all small blocks. the trans bolt pattern is differnt with the 351m though.

Good to know. If my 302 ever gives up, I may replace it with a cleveland.

mouse if you don't find an answer you can check online parts stores and see if they are the same part number and sometimes you can find out stuff like that by checking ebay auctions for those two engine flywheels.

form what I have found is the l6 has a neutral balance and the 351c has a 28 oz balance
