today i got my truck running, and took it for a test drive, and found out that the speedo is broke, is thre a way that i can fix this or do i have to buy a aftrmarket one and mount it over the dash?

the speedo cable might be broke. you can buy a replacement one of those. you wont know if youll be able to fix it untill you pull it out and look at it

You'll have to find out WHAT part is broken. Is it the actual speedometer itself, or the cable, or even the plastic drive gear? You can pick up used complete instrument panels on E-bay for $15-$20, so the speedo can be swapped over. The speedo cables are only about $20 new. More than likely it's the cable.
