well i started to rebuild my 2bl autolite 2100.but ended up messing it up cause i has to drill out the brass jets that that stripped. and over drilled, so went to pick and pulll , ended up getting a different one on accideent, they looked the same till i started it, My question is they looks the same but werent, i had to
get some parts off this one and had to go back and forth, i finally got it together, we will see if it starts, but are these carbs able to work with parts from different older ford carb, the other one looked like a 2100 , but maybe it was for a differrent engine or stick
man !rebuild nightmare, wonder if it work

there are different sizes of the 2100 it is dependant on whihc size engine it is mated to. there is also a 2150 and i think so on. i have swapped parts from one autolite to another with no problems before. but i think they were real close in the same size and model.

if the throttle plate was smaller then it is for a smaller enigne than what yours is for.

That's what I was gonna say. Look at the size of the throttle plates. You'll prolly have to measure them with calipers to see any difference.
