Heate hose routing

Post by blueranger »

Is there a wrong way to put the heater hoses on. The one coming out of the intake is hooked to the lower pipe on the core and the one on the water pump is hooked to the top. Ive got A.C. if that matters. Thing is that the heat isnt that hot and I've flushed the core and made sure the control valve is fully open. Just wandered if flipping them would make a difference?

You didn't state the year of your truck or what size engine you have....the FE setup is slightly different from the 302.

Yes I noticed that with the clamps. My truck has 2 clamps on the inner fender well just like the one in the picture.
