I almost bought Hooker equal length tube headers for my truck until I read the footnote that stated the auto-trans shift linkage may interfere with the #8 tube. I didn't want to buy a new set of headers and start pounding on them with a hammer.

On a 390 I thought you couldn't run headers with the bendix power steering box. I thought you had to convert to the saginaw in order to clear headers. I could be wrong bought I thought I read something on here that mentioned that.
