OK guys i have acquired a 68 or 69 f-600 and i believe i have a 391 under the hood! I read through this thread: http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... 8&hilit=39

But i jus want to verify if the motor is mounted from the front cover it is without a doubt a FT not an FE correct?

an f600 will have a ft motor. tellign the 361 from the 391 and or the 330 is all probably in the bore and stroke though. the ft should have a dipstick inthe pan instead of in the block like a fe would have.
