Flaming River
An FYI for those of you looking to buy Flaming River Steering Column. I bought one about 8k miles ago and twice the lower bearing has failed. They have honored the warranty and fixed it both times (of course it still costs time & money). A tech told me that they had numerous problems with the specific part) The service is good but the part apparently is not. Next time I will rebuild an OEM piece. Caveat Emptor.

Re: Flaming River
I had problems with my stock lower bearing. I ended up measuring the shaft od and the column id and installing a bronze pilot bearing from a flywheel. Its solid as a rock now.
