Hello , I've bought new springs , valve stem seals , pushrods and keepers for my
72 360 . I've done a lot of searching for the rotating retainers but no luck . Anybody
know where I might find some ? I appreciate any help .
Thanks ,
Bill

Re: 360 valve spring retainers
Hi Bill,
Have you tried NAPA or Car Quest (actually going to the store vs the websites)? Ford?
I also assume the new springs you have are designed for the rotators? Most aftermarket ones are not.

Re: 360 valve spring retainers
I didn't know there was any difference in the springs since they were for a 360 .
If they're not designed for the rotating retainers what would be the harm
in putting on regular retainers ? I know the 360 was built for work and I'm sure
the rotators were for long service .
Thanks , Bill

Re: 360 valve spring retainers
I should probably have said "performance aftermarket", if you got stock replacements for the year and model they should be fine. The exhaust springs should be shorter than the intakes if they are for rotators.
