69 f100 manual choke on the 360

hey guys can you please help me , my choke in my truck will only go in a certain amount and it does not stay in all the way , it did before , but now it hangs out in the cab bout 1/2 inch , any way to adjust it so the choke controller knob with go all the way back in? thx

the inner rod didnt happen to bend did it? i have seen that happen. right where it hooks to the carb.

Pretty simple system, get the aircleaner off and you can see how it works.

thnaNKS GUYS THE INNER ROD WAS HITTIGN THE AIRCLEANER NEED TO GET A BIGGER ONE.

why was it hitting the air cleaner all of the sudden did you change it to a open filter type elment?

no it was always the sir cleaner when i would tighten it down with the wing nut it would hit the stem , just need to get a bigger filter between or a larger assembly.

i dotn know if its been rigged up over the years. but normally they wont hit the aircleaner. they are suppose to sit below it. maybe its the wing nut that needs to be replaced instead of the filter housing.

Perhaps it's not the factory air cleaner housing.
