came out of mid 90's makr 8, my question is....will a 5spd from a 94-04 v8 mustang bolt right up to the mark8 motor?

A T-45 trans will bolt up with a 6 bolt flywheel.

If the trans is out of a cobra, the flywheel will not mate to the aluminum mark VIII block. The Cobra flywheel is made to bolt to a Cobra 8-bolt crank.

Mark 8 has a 6 bolt crank if I can remember correctly.

A T-45 5-speed should work.

By the way, you've got a good motor if you've got a DOHC 4.6!!!!

haha, thx dude, from what i've driven and seen 4.6 can be nasty, my buddy had a factory freak mark 8 w/a few mods and tore up lt1's all day.....coldnt take ls1's tho..

I'd love to build a bumpside with a 4.6 DOHC/5 speed someday as a cruiser.

Is that what you're doing?

Theres a guy in Phoenix that owns a tire/wheel/exhaust/etc/etc shop and he put a 4.6 Cobra motor in his bump and from what I was told this thing screams but I have yet to see it with my one good eye so who knows...
