Hey Keith This is an error message that I occasionally get, maybe 3 times since the new forums started! I get sometimes when I click a thread. None inparticular that I can remember.

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Yeah, the server setup itself has a maximum number of database connections allowed, and occasionally in the evenings when it's getting busy here, we'll hit that limit, which will trigger the error message you see. We've been bumping the upper limits for some time now, and it's looking like in the fairly new future the site and forums will have to finally upgrade to it's own private server. I actually have the private server account already set up, but I have to train myself how to administer it before I take it live.
