Well, I'm waiting for some TC parts from JB Conversions that were being held up by hurricane Ike... so I started stripping the interior so I can take it down next Monday (22nd) to get spray lined. Then I will have the front and rear glass re-installed.

So this week....

Welding interior seams, grinding and sealing.

The majority of the interior will be spray lined with Line-X, mostly for the sound deadening effects. Still going to have carpet, headliner, ect.

Will fab aluminum gauge panel insert for a full compliment of mechanical gauges. All switched functions will be via toggle and relay circuits.

Wiring harness from EZ-wire.... Some guys here recommended it over Painless.

Seats are undecided at this moment. Might have to go with the standard milk crate till I get a plan!

Thats about it for now....

I don't know about the back seats but..... Any front seat from 69-97 is a bolt in deal with a switch of the sliders. I'd look for a set of seats from a 97 crewcab to put in it.

OK... so she is off to have the interior spray lined. I will have her back tomorrow afternoon. At least this gives me a chance to get my driveway cleaned up! And the garage... can't seem to find anything anymore!

Truck back from the local bedliner establishment....

Looks too nice to cover up! Now the trick will be keeping it clean while completing the rest of the work.....

Yesterday.....

Well we just found out that the project will be moving to a new home.... we purchased a slightly used new home. I'll have to put this thing on some steel wheels (no rubber) and roll it into the garage. Ha.... now I can work on it all winter long! At my leisure! Without the city hassling me!

The down side will be that the truck funds are a bit scarce now....

My local shop charged me $495 out the door.... I thought that was pretty reasonable.

Cool deal is the rubberless mod so it will fit?
