Ok guys i am having a hard time getting the rubber cab and radiator support mounts off. The ones off the 79 frame have a 7/8 nut on the bottom side of the mount. I was wondering if these mounts screw together then the bolt holds the cab on with that 7/8 nut? I have tried beating it out. Doesn't budge at all. I would like to keep them so i can reuse them. They are in good shape other than they wont come off. I need them off so I can get the frame sand blasted. Any help or suggestions.

The factory ones aren't really meant to be reused, but you can. They are pressed together. Screw a long bolt down through the top into the threads in the lower part. Beat the snot out of the bolt with a heavy sledge. The bottom will come out. To put them back together you'll probably have to grind a little bit and use a decent sized C-clap to force them back together.

Thanks Dustin. I got them buggers off. The washers under the rubber are completely disintegrated. The frame mount is rusted but ok. It is pitted pretty bad but it should be ok. I need to look around and see if they have any polyurethane mounts for the 79'. And find some galvanized washers.

Well not much to update. I have rounded up some more parts. Changed my mind on the flat bed. I am sticking with the bump bed. But it will be a dump bed, so mounting shouldn't be a problem. The frame and the Cab are nice and snug tucked away in my garage. Soon as I buy a heater for the garage I will be getting it ready for the rust bullet. Also I wont be sandblasting it because it is recommended to just get the loose rust off and paint over the rust with the rust bullet.
Thats all for now

Hey Dustin here is a hydro boost setup over on 4btswaps. It is off a p30 van. Will I be able to make this work on my truck? Also he wants me to make an offer. I have no idea what one is worth. Any ideas? Also I found the Saginaw pump on 4btswaps for $150.00 is that a good deal?
I know way to many questions. One last one. How much should I sell my vacuum and power steering pump for? I was thinking $175.00???

Thanks A Bunch!!

H-boost value is complicated. They go for decent money on ebay, but U-pullit is chock full of them for $8 for the whole setup with hoses. It's your call there.

I thought your PS/vac pump was cracked? Probably not worth a whole lot broken.

$150 for the regular saginaw cummins pump doesn't sound bad. I'd think closer to $100 would be more fair for what it is, add the shipping and that's pretty expensive for a PS pump.
