engine paint

Post by green1970 »

i am about to pull my 302 out of my truck to repaint it. The paint thats on it now is Dupli Color 500 degree ford blue. It has lasted about a year and a half and now is starting to flake off. Any suggestions on a better engine paint??

thanks,

It shouldnt flake off if the block was degreased sufficiently. 'Its all in the prep' :(

POR 15 engine paint is excellent, however, the engine still has to be spotless when its applied...

It is also rather expensive and a bit complicated to apply, but it does turn out very nice and is durable.
