Flywheel swap
Im swapping my 3spd for a C4. My question is will the flywheel from the 300cid 6 cyl. work on my 302cid? which is 77 model and the 300cid is a 86 model.

re: Flywheel swap
It will physically bolt on but because they have different balance standards it will cause a horrible vibration and cause internal engine damage. Hawkrod

re: Flywheel swap
The inline 6 flywheel is zero balance. The 8 banger has to have weights on it to make up for the natural imbalance that bent 8's have.
1968 F100 Took the running 390 out, and installed a Built 300 with AOD.
