Even if it leaked a gallon a day it would still beat manualfomocoguy wrote:Hey, if you're unhappy with the way it leaks I'd be happy to take it off your hands!James72 wrote:The unit itself runs hot, I've been told I should be running a tranny cooler on the return line to the PS pump. The valve down off of the pitman arm gets hot almost like an exhaust manifold, I guess thats why mine leaks .When you say it runs hot, do you mean it causes the truck to run hot or the unit itself runs hot??
James
But, if I fit the newer style power box on you're welcome to the setup then
That's about a year away tho

NEW PAINT!!! Technically, that is! So today, when I was at the Home Depot, I noticed they had white primer (which I didn't know existed until today). I figured, what better way to temporarily spruce up the truck then to cover the surface rust it has and make the bed color the same with a matching primer! All the paint is dull anyways, so now I have a bonafide 20 footer. Check it out!

[quote="1971ford"] did you purposely blur the second pic so we couldnt see the imperfections? [/quote Nah, I wish I was that saavy with the photos! I just tried to resize them to make them smaller, but all it did was make them a little grainy. Not my forte by any means...

I have no clue. The can doesn't say, and niether does the rustoleum website. I would just try a small patch and see if it sands out nicely. It does say 48 hours to fully cure, so you probably can't wet sand after half an hour like you can traditional primer. Hope this helps!basketcase0302 wrote:fomocoguy,Can you tell me if this is a "sandable" primer or not?I bought it at the home depot. It's made by rustoleum.

Thanks guys! Just wait till I get the aluminum slots refinished! There is a local company that will refinish and polish aluminum wheels for $75 a piece. Seems how these aren't available anymore (in eight lug) I think it's a good investment.
