Lug centered wheels usually center by the lug taper. If that's the case just drill them out by hand.
Even if they aren't taper seat nuts if you drill the holes out in a drill press or mill that's been swept in the holes will self center and should be fine.

I found some Gorilla Duplex Mag Shank nuts in 9/16"-18 that are only .010 larger shank dia. So I will just have to ream the holes out a bit!

Drive them both, work on them and tow with them then decide which one you'd want.
The Navistar motors are pretty good, but the mechanical cummins engines beat them in most respects. Especially fitting one in an older truck. The powerstroke is a wiring and plumbing nightmare.

Cummins is kinda like the small block chevy (bad word) of the diesel world. And they are not so far out of place in a ford as you could get a cummins in F-series 450 or 550 and up.FordTruck wrote:Looks Good!

K.... I got the rear all back together accept the brake calibers. Just holding off till I'm ready for them. I'll get the front together this week and I decided to put the motor in stock for now. I will build another motor as time (and funds) permit, then swap at a later date.
We have also been thinking about selling (need some investment funds), but I will continue getting her together for now.

I need to do the KDP fix on this motor.... Do ya guys think I should drop the pan to take a look inside? Maybe pop a couple bearing caps to have a look? What about changing out the main seal? Motor only had 114K on it.

KDP is a guess for anyone. It may fall out tomorrow, it might go forever without an issue. Pulling the pan won't show anything, gotta pull the timing cover.
Definitely do the rear seal while you have it out. These engines leak A LOT. The seal is about $35 and make sure you put it in dry.

Really wouldn't hurt to check through it all before its in permanent.
I will be taking the head off mine soon and at least replacing the gaskets.

Yes the KDP will be fixed without question, but I can do that without pulling the motor back out. Interesting enough... I wouldn't have guessed to put the main seal in dry.
