re: Emergency flasher switch location
I think if there ever was any rhyme or reason it all went out the window long ago with dealer installed packages and trucks that have been wrecked and recabbed early in life. And while we are at it some trucks seem to have 3 holes and some only2 in the dash area where the lighter/choke/emergancy flasher/cargo light switches reside.

Hi to all, just joined, great site! I bought a '69 stepside this summer, and after searching , found that my plug for the flashers was in the glove box, so that's where it is now after a trip to the junkyard for a switch.
Also, my dash just has two holes on the right, choke and cigarette lighter knobs.

Welcome to the site. When you get time you might want to peruse the sight. Keith has compiled a good bit of info on the 67-72 bodied trucks.

If there are I haven't found them. Mine has a replacemnet dash cover that someone has put on from maybe LMC, or Carpenter. If I run across any, I'll let you know. Any particular color you're after, or just any that you will paint?

Can't be choosy if a good on pops up. Mine had one of those covers over it too. It doesn't look too bad but sags down in front of the instermente a little.

re: Emergency flasher switch location
I suppose this info is redundant but here it goes:
my 69 with factory air has it located under the dash to the right of the steering column...
The 67 that I gutted last week had it mounted in the glove box ( no air )...
I took the switch..any one need it?
