Hey boys and girls it's time for the Portland swap meet again. April 4,5, & 6 at the Portland Expo center. Are we going to have a FORDification meet and greet?

Thats a big one . I will go if I don't get stuck working OT. It is hard to do that one in a day. Best to do it in two days unless you just go for the excersize

Me and the PO of my truck are going for the weekend. Since I am a salaried employee I do not know what overtime looks like. And before that I was on commission.

Is that on a weekend because gosh I have so much to do on the weekends like yard work and chores and naps and yard work...did I say yard work?

For anyone that hasn't ever been to this, I recommend it highly! Its huge, like Heep said its tough to see it all in one day.
I'm going to miss it this year though, other commitments

You're right that it's great, but back before there was E-bay and Craigslist it was even better. Do you remember when the entire road course and four rows wide on the drag strip were filled with vendors? And they called the area at the Expo Center the "annex"? You couldn't see everything in a weekend, let alone a day! Oh well, progress.seattle67 wrote:For anyone that hasn't ever been to this, I recommend it highly! The Portland swap is pretty cool. I'm not sure if I can make that one this year. I'll figure that out later.

I'm going. We'll get there Friday morning and walk both sites Friday and Saturday, then golf on the way home Sunday, perfect weekend plans IMO. So is anyone else going? We're staying just south of the oval track on the east side of I-5, anyone interested in a mini MNG Friday or Saturday night?

re: Portland Swap Meet
Might be able to make it down there on the Friday or Saturday (my normal days off) but wont commit to it. My job and other problems always seem to arise whenever I plan too far in advance, so I try not to any more.
One things for certain, I'm going to Colorado in June. No ifs, ands, or buts about it!

re: Portland Swap Meet
Well guys the weather was hit and miss but the swap meet was pretty good. I saw a lot of bump sides there but forgot my wifes digital camera. I did score a factory behind-the-seat storage box.
