This thread got me thinking of how awesome it would be to have a picture of a Ford Truck dealer's lot from the late 60's / early 70's !!!!! The cool factor would be high on that!!!!

The weird moire pattern is caused from scanning a half-tone image...that is, something scanned from a catalog or brochure.
Mirrors are dealer-installed options...they don't actually roll off the assembly line with them installed.

While looking at that way cool pic of the dealership i noticed the trucks are missing rear bumpers and side view mirrors, were the rear bumpers and mirrors installed per buyers request?

I think they were to the customers request and to how they were gonna use the truck. Like a CS would have got either swing locks or the CS mirrors. If the owner wasnt gonna do any kind of towing they might have choose the sport bumper.
