Wheel Help

Post by boots »

Im searching for new tires and wheels for my 67 f100 2WD. Im planning to get 33x12.50 or 33x13.50 on 15x10. What is the bolt pattern on my truck? 5 on 5?

I had 33x12.50 on the front of my F100 when I bought it. I kept hearing a funny noise when i turned the wheels lock to lock. Turned out the tires were rubbing on the radius arms. Make sure you check the clearance before you buy. I have 31X10.5's on now no problems.

I have tires close to a 33x13.50 (315/70/15) on 15x10.5 wheels in the rear of my 67 2WD race truck. Not sure on the offset of the wheels but I know you really need to be right on with that to make tires that big fit. The tires will kiss the wheel wells if I hit a bump hard. Here's a pic.

I hope you have power steering if these are going up front.

I've got 295/50/15 tires on 15X10 wheels front and back with manual steering. Tread width is 12" and they don't rub. Believe it or not, they are easier to turn than the stockers were.

Nope, more like 26" tall. They fit fine width wise. Don't rub the radius arms.

I'd like to see some pics of that. Must look pretty kool.

68F100,

Do you have a lift on that? I'm looking for really wide tires in the back, probably 50's with maybe 60's or 70's up front. What back spacing do you have? I'm thinking about getting the American racing smoothies. Any input from anybody?

Any info would help.

No lift. Stock 2wd suspension. I'm not sure what backspacing. If someone wanted to tell me how to measure it I could.
