Hey Guys...

Spent the morning cleaning up the bus and getting ready to clean and paint parts before reinstall.
I am thankful to have the day off so I could work on the CS.
After our feast, I worked on cleaning and prepping parts for paint...

That's cool! (Neat idea about the spray booth)!
I've usually just made a mess of everything with overspray.

I've got the same parts washer and love it, (big work saver).
One thing I did to mine was to add a valve onto the drain at the bottom of the tank. It lets you filter your cleaning solution for re-use/then wash out the sediments inside the bottom of the tank.

I like that idea Jeff, I wuz wonderin' how to do that...
How much solvent do you use? and what kind is the best?
The guy I got the washer from, threw in a couple of gallons of some red stuff, but I don't know what it is.
It seems like it should have another couple gals.

I use the biodegradable purple power, (plus the stuff don't eat your skin off like some of the more powerful stuff).

I filter it out of the bottom valve, through a paint strainer back into the original 2 gallon jug. Seems I have to do this often if the parts were really dirty to keep the filter in the tank clear.
