Okay, after some cursing, we got the ignition switch to fry the voltage regulator

. Well, indirectly. I'm sure you can guess what words left my mouth at that point, your first thought is correct. Other than that, the whole burning solder on my skin caused the rest. It's okay though.
We got the switch to click the starter relay, and actual turn the starter. It got to a point that the starter wouldn't even turn though. It may be a bad starter, could be battery, could be a very tight engine, it could be anything. Starter will get tested early next week and a new battery (for safeties sake) will be bought as well. THEN we will get back to ignition stuff.
My only bother is that we didn't have to use one wire from the switch. It's a 18 or so gauge purple wire, no clue what it did, as it's not on the harness diagram in the right position. We had to do our own tests to figure continuity on the switch. We got it right, just no clue of that wire....
