The truck almost didn't fit on the trailer. The screwdriver tru the floor is kind of funny. Nice truck. I will be following your project. :thup:

How true... In fact the front tires wouldn't fit between the trailer fenders, so we had to use a POS floor jack to lift the front end over while winching it up the tilt bed! I will change the front tire to get it off.

Cool thing now is that I can easily find my house :wink:

The teardown continues.... mostly just looking for hidden rust and stripping old paint. I found a couple areas in the rear wall of the cab and the front cowling that had cracks. Here are the latest pics....

Slowly progressing, but moving forward none the less.... Look at the hack job some previous owner did on that frame rail where the steering box mounts

I have decided to fab up new frame rails from 6"x3" and maybe fab up a new x-member while I'm at it.
