MLJJONES67 PROJECT CUMMINS put away for winter
Since I decided to go with the 6bt and zf 5 transmission and a mated t-case. I figured I might as well tear it down for easy access. The fenders were shot anyway so they will be recycled. The inners are going to need to be replaced thats the next step tearing those off. Then the bed will be next. I think I am going to put a flat bed on the back to replace the bed I messed up. The saddle tanks will look good with the flat bed.

re: mljjones67 project update
You know what you SHOULD do....mount an F600 front clip (hood/fenders/radiator support/grille) on that truck. It'll be wider with the flared front fenders, and would look BEEFY!

Ya an F600 font clip and a stepside bed with enlarged fenders to match the front!
That would be cool.

Man you guys are gonna make this truck cost me a fortune.
Love the idea though. Does the whole front end tilt with the radiator and all?

Re: re: mljjones67 project update
No, the radiator stays put. Since it normally bolts to the radiator support, which does have to tilt, you'd have to construct a mini-support to hold the radiator upright in place.mljjones67 wrote:Man you guys are gonna make this truck cost me a fortune.
