Seat belts

Post by fisheye »

Is there anyone who has had their seat belts restored and have a resource to have it done. My wife likes shoulder belts and it looks like there may be a mounting point above the back seat on each side. There are two rubber plugs in the corners by the rear window that look like a possible mounting point. Has anyone any information on shoulder belts in these trucks and was it an option when new. I would like to add them if possible. It looks like these trucks are becoming classics rapidly as the body shop where I plan on having my truck painted said that it was worth what a new truck is in the condition it will be in after painting. SoCal auto body in El Cajon California does mostly street rods and classics.

The ones I have in mine are green and it appears your truck is green to so if the interior is green they should match well.
