as far as moving the plumbing the best way would be to cut the concrete and put in an extension pipe to the exesting pluming unless the main is closer to where you want it than the pipes are now. then it would be a matter of tapping tnto the main where its at. the ceapo way would bee to raise a fake fl;oor in the bath area and run the pipes on top of the concrete to the drops you have no. but it wouldn't be the right way to do it. i will get my concrete saw fixed and runnign if you deside to do cut the concrete out. let me know about that pretty soon. if you want to use that saw.

Thanks Fordman,
I think I'll go with the idea of a raised floor for two reasons. One is I have 9 foot ceilings so a raised floor wont be too much of an issue. The second is I want to run water up to the top and put in small 1/2 bath and kitchenette. I have a 5 gallon water heater already so I need to think of a place to put it also. I am thinking of cutting the wall down that divides the place where the corner bath is and the van in the photo to about 36 inches or so. The one with the red toolbox leaning up against it. I could hide all the plumbing in the short wall and just about run another set of pipes straight up and into the loft area.

There are few in our area. I saw another one today. It was a yellow 250 with a glass hauling rig on the back. Looked like a 69. He was coming out of the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Just wanted to thank nikon4u for coming over today and helping get a bunch of work done on the loft. We had kind of a mini meet and greet.
Chris has a handyman business and has probably every tool on his truck to build a house. We, well he, I watched most of the time, got the wiring and plugs in the loft. Put in new circuit breakers, added some wall bracing to the steps, installed 26 pieces to the roof rafters to give it a place to run the lights and hang drywall. Installed a switch at the bottom of the steps. We also talked about plumbing and making some built drawers and an access door to get behind the kneewall. Future projects when he get more time. With a trip to Home Depot and time to talk and tinker with the trucks, he did all this in 5 hours. I'll post some more pics soon but here are a few of our trucks hanging out in the back alley. Thanks Chris!!!

Just a quick note to say looks like it is coming together well . I knew when I committed to the gracious invite that I was going to have surgery . As it turns out the surgery(april 2nd) date puts my recovery time into the get together date . If I push real hard i could have my truck close to road ready by the date of my surgery but, I won't be able to travel . I hope everyone has a great time . Maybe before the summer is out I'll be able to make something up that way .
I look forward to following this thread to see what I miss . a big kudo's to all who are putting their hearts into this M-N-G

re: MIdWestern MNG
Just bumping the tread (get it?, bumping ) Oh well anyway less than one month to go and all is going well. If anyone is ready to commit now Im trying to see what I'll need if anyone is going to stay here for a night or 2.
Also its time to locate the parts you want to sell and mark them with your user name and your asking price. Remember 50% of the sale goes to FORDification unless you just cant do that much, then do what you can. No pressure to pony up. I have plenty of room here for anyone needing temp storage for their parts either buying or selling. The vendor packet should be arriving in a few days and I'll scan it up for anyone interested. Im setting up Friday so we can get an early start on Saturday morning when the gates open. Following the close of Saturdays swap meet, those who want to stay are welcome to join us at a restaurant right down the road from the swap meet or journey out on their own. My place is open to all who need or want to bed down Saturday night. On Sunday its back to the swap meet. I am planning to tear down around noon and pack it up. Then for those interested, a small BBQ and get together at my place. There will be a no cost raffle for those who show up at my place on Sunday. The gift will remain a surprise until the give away. My wife will have kid movies playing and games and things to do for the little ones. I love to play horseshoes and have a pit set up to sling some shoes around the yard.
So again its on and let me know if you can make it.
Robert

i am still in robert. i'm going to get a canopy from wally world too so we don't burn up or drown depending on the weather. i'd like to get together before the meet if possible to discuss this, that or whatever if that is ok with you and to get half the reg. fee paid up also.
i've got a big coleman cooler for the storing of beverages and cold cuts and whatnot. collapsable chairs ar also a must. all day in a parking lot can wear a person out.

Thanks, I tend to forget the less thought about items, thats why you make the big bucks.ezernut9mm wrote:i am still in robert. i'm going to get a canopy from wally world too so we don't burn up or drown depending on the weather. i'd like to get together before the meet if possible to discuss this, that or whatever if that is ok with you and to get half the reg. fee paid up also.

The spot was only 40 bucks so its not a big deal.
Just buy the ice and drinks and well call it a deal.

sweet i'm in but i'll be riding in with Foghorn so whenever he decides to head home i'll have to go too unless someone else could carry me home. My truck won't be road worthy by the meet.
I could pay for the gas home if it comes to that. I'll bring a sleeping bag and sleep in the loft if need to if thats not a problem.
Thanks for being big helpsd guys. the last time i tried it died off quick.

It's still tentative for me...so far, I THINK I'll be there, but I can't say with absolute certaintly that I'll be there. I can say I think I can make it.
