UUHHMM... More problems than ever???

hey everybody, i have been trying to get my pickup going, and am not having to much luck. For now, i just hooked a ground strap up, and only have the starter, the the starter relay, and all of the switches hooked up. The rest of the wiring is not hooked up, because i dont know what all of the underhood plugs go to. The only ones i have figured out are the windshield washer, the engine wires (oil, water, coil) the wires to the tail lights and the horn sending unit or whatever it is. I still cannot figure any of it out, and the engine wont turn over with out that stuff, or maybe it will i am not sure. The one plug in that i am most concerend about would have to be on the passenger side inner fender, by the starter relay, there is a flat rather large 3 prongpug in. It has one rather large black wire, a normal sized white, and normal sized yellow wire. I appreciate and help possible, thank you.... KYLE

Sound like that plug goes to the horn relay.

I've wondered that myself. It's not an isolator, it has no terminals or large wires. What wires it did have are cut. Eventually my curiosity will get to me and I'll pull it off and see if there's any writing on it.

what about your under dash wires are they all hooked up including the steering column wires and the nuetrual safety switch.

actually i never thought of the neutral safty switch, but every wire is pluged back in under the dash other than the gauges, and the fan, and the stereo. It is not the horn relay because that is a triangle plug in. I will trie to take pictures and post them here in a minute.

oh that plug goes to the regulator on the core support.

Brain slip, I forgot we have external regulators, right under the horn.
