First time poster here, proud new owner of '67 f100.
Hoping for a hint on the first question of many, I'm sure. I've got a short in my turn signals/brakelights, the mechanic found it in the front right park light socket. Heavily corroded. Any suggestions on where to find a new one that will fit a '67? No luck so far.
Thanks so much.

ebay would be a place to look as well as the parts store but i kind of doubt the parts stores would have a direct replacement. if in real desperate need you could get the guts for a generic trailer light assembly just the guts. spring electrodes and fiber backing plate and install it in place of your current electrodes. and spring assembly. you would have to reuse your current housing i think it could be done. on ebay the only rhing you might find is a entire grill to get the sockets out of. but you might get lucky.

If the 67 and 69 sockets are the same I have an old grille in the back yard. Let me know and I can send you one. Just cover shipping from 28326.

re: replacement park light socket?
Thanks guys.
Cleaned it up and fitted it with new guts, all is well. Let there be light, blinking light.
Cheers.
