Hey everyone
I’m in the middle of installing a Sterling 10.25 in the rear of my 68 F250 4x4 with a 4 inch Skyjacker Lift and I would like to know if anyone could give me a picture of the shock mounts with a few dimensions, on the axle tube of their factory Dana 60. I need this info to locate the new shock mounts on the 10.25. See, when I purchased my truck it had a Full Float D70 in it with the shock mounts below the axle U-bolt bottom plate like a 2WD F350 so I don’t have a D60 to reference for my new mounts. The 10.25 is under the truck now and spring pads located, not welded as I need to set the pinion angle but I would like to mark where the shock mounts go. By the way Skyjacker says their shock M9558 with an extended length of 24.84 and a collapsed length of 14.82 will work on a 0 to 4" lifted truck, I even called them to verify this. Any help would be helpful.

I did a '89ish 10.25 and it was a bolt in on my '70 F-350. You really need to find one with the correct spring perch width. The universal is a larger size so expect some drive shaft issues. I went 10.25 to get away from the 4.11 gear.

Thanks for the reply. My Sterling 10.25 is the later version, longer pinion, and I have a 1350 yoke for it. The NP205 transfer case I have in the truck I changed to a the 1350 output yoke as well to match, that I got from Tom Woods. The only thing left is the drive shaft when I get everything set Ill need to order with matching 1350's at both ends. I couldnt locate a DRW 10.25 with 40.25 pad spacing so I got SRW 10.25 with the same WMS of 66.5 but had to cut the pads and put new 2.25 inch ones on the tube at the correct spacing.
