tire size
cant decide what size tires to put on the 67. I don't know what came on it new. just a cruiser, no hot rod. 240, 3 speed, 370 ratio. shes wound up pretty tight at 70 mph. stock wheels now, may change to 7 or 8 inch wheels also. .thanks

If its the same as my 68 today's equivalent would be a 235/75-15 for stock. I bought a set of Wheel Vintiques 62 series 15X8 steel rims and moved up to a set of 31-10.5 Mastercraft Courser LTR's on mine to drop the RPM's a little but I'm running a 3.25 rear end - with that combo im turning about 2600 at 70 MPH. You may want to look at a gear change to really get it down to where you want it because you're still gonna be up there with that 3.70 in there........... I have some photos in my gallery of what they look like mounted if that helps.....

My truck has Ironman tires in 235/75/15 size and no rubbing issues. I'm planning to add a lift kit so that I can fit bigger tires.

I like a little more meat on my tires and a fuller fender well look. I upped mine to 265/75-15 and had no clearance issues.

I am running Goodyear Eagle RS-A Tire P275/60R17 .
I put 1/4" spacers on the back.
Like Mr Sargent said , I like the fuller tire well look too and I also like the taller tire.

The original rims on a 250 were 16-1/2" split-roms. When I got my truck, it had 16" rims. Right now, I'm running 245/75R16, Load Range E. Next time, I'll probably go with 265/75R16.
