Custom Sterring wheel mount
Has anyone installed a generic column like the ones from Summit in a bump? I've got the new column, but there isn't a mount on it to bolt it to the dash. I though about drilling out the welds on the old mount to use on the new, but would hate to have to mess up the chrome to weld it onto the new column. What have you guys done?

Haven't actually done it but I would think something like this would work. https://m.summitracing.com/parts/sum-772810. Might have to make an adapter plate or drill the dash to match up the bolt centers.
