Best motor mounts for conversion to 460?

Post by zakt »

Who has the best motor mounts for a conversion 360 to 460? I am leaning toward L&L now, any thoughts?

You can probably find some in a junkyard on a 75 and up truck. I got some from a parts plus store for a 76 4wd. Not real expensive.

I used the towers from L&L and the stock 460 engine mounts. Worked out great.

I think my local pick and pull has a 78-79 460 truck with the engine out. I don't remember if the towers were in it but I'm betting they are. Bad part is I can't get away from the old dude and it kills a half a day every time I go out there.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.
