I am not sure how much gravel it is, and i don’t believe we have any scales around here. My Dad was driving the Ford and i was driving the Dodge and i know there was a little weight because my slightly turned up Dodge was a little slower than normal.

Luckily we have another antique sitting around. Late 40s early 50s John Deere MC.

(as a kid i was reading a book about a battle either in the Pacific with the Marines or in Israel and they were using a Dozer named Natasha to push over buildings...and a kid with a spray can is a dangerous thing....anyway it stuck and has been repainted a couple times  )

But there is no rest for the wicked....after finishing up spreading gravel it was off for wood.

I would have loaded up more but my brother who was with me basically told me he was going to mutiny if we continued.

Oh MC's are so cool. I have my gradfathers 48' model M its a blast. Is that a husky or dolmar saw I see poking out in front of the pile?

The MC...or "Johnny Popper" is a great little machine...when she wants to run. She has turned into a finiky young lady, part of the problem is we dont use her all that much so she does a lot of sitting and breaking.

Husky....its not a big one but its not a small one either. Biggest none commercial i think. It will really throw the chips.

Ended up hauling three more loads of wood over the last few days in between other things.

Moving day 1994. The trailer got brand new shocks and overload springs after this move. It was a lot more stable when I moved again the following year. Last week I started disassembling the old truck. Going to do a complete rebuild which includes filling the gap in the middle with a truck box made out of another rusty old short bed that I've got stashed out back.
